Today I got to the Hospital and the first thing the nurse asked me is if I wanted to hold Taylor...My eyes filled with tears. "YES" I just about shouted. "I would love to". So they got everything set up so they could put her into my arms. Three other nurses came in to help transfer her. What a great and amazing blessing it is to embrace such a sweet and pure angel. This was the first time I got to hold her. I sat and rocked her for about 3 1/2 hours. I got to sing and read her books while she just layed calm in my arms, (that's where she's supposed to be). I read her the book "You Are Special" and sang her "A Child's Prayer".
Later that night after the shift change I got to hold her again. All of her vital signs were really good. I could tell she was really comfortable. I didn't want it to ever end.
