Week 3

Things have been a little up and down for Little Taylor this week. They have increased her doses of Fenaldapin (to help her pee) , she has peed a little more this week...it looks like its working!! Good job Taylor!!!! Taylor has had to have 3 blood transfusions this week (the nurses keep trying to convince me that this is normal, they said that its because they take so much blood out of her for tests.

Today Taylor had a head and heart ultrasound today. Things are looking good. The blood from the trauma at birth has stablized. She also had some damaged brain cells, but they look like they are starting to repair on their own. :) Although there is a little less room between the ventricles that they are concerned about...which they may have to take a closer look at and do a MRI on her. Her heart ultrasound looked great, she had a heart murmor when she was born but they said they don't see any damage and it is working well!

Today they gave Taylor a bath...The nurse asked me if I would help "of course I would" I explained to her! As the tears start to stream down my face.... I GOT TO PICK HER UP!! For the 1st time!! What a joy it was to just get to pick her up and feel her precious little soul! I'm so very thankful for this little angel of mine! She is the LIGHT of my life! Its amazing how much your life can change in seconds! This angel is mine sent from up above!
