Our LITTLE one is here!!!

Feb. 20 7:44p.m. As the day starts out, Cammon and I had several appointments to go to. Our first appointment was to meet with Taylor surgeon for her Omphalecelle(part of her organs were coming outside of her tummy). Things were looking good, Dr. Clark explained to us that they have done several surgeries on Ompahlecelle's before. So we weren't that worried. He told us a little about the procedure. Next he wanted us to meet up with one of the nurses in the NICU in Primary Children's Hospital, where we could have a tour. She showed us around....this was a little difficult for me as we went through some of the rooms and so many little babies hooked up to so many different machines.
Our next appointment was with the Neonatology. (WOW this was an eye opener.) They explained to us that there may be additional problems with our little Taylor. Reality Hit!
Next appointment for the day was a Non Stress Test. These test usually last for about 20 to 30 min. As I sat patiently....2 and half hours went by. The nurse wasn't likeing what she was seeing. Taylor's heart rate was higher in the levels than most babies. Then She would have this huge decrease in heart rate. It kept dropping several time throughout the reading. So the nurse got really nervous and called the doctor in. He wasn't liking it either....so he tells the nurse to call and get me a room in labor and delivery. He told me you might deliver this baby today...."WHAT," I thought to myself "I'm not ready". So I went into the Labor and delivery room, they kept me on the monitor to watch the babies heart rate. They gave me a steroids shot to help Taylor's lungs develop. I was supposed to get 2 doses. Then the doctor came in and said we are ready to deliver in about 45 min to an hour. As my heart starts to pound. As they rush me in to get the epidural...things were in a blur. Dr. says we have the head ....Now we have your baby delivered. As my heart starts to beat faster....I don't hear anything...Is she Ok " I asked," they must not of heard me. As they take her over to the ICU. I asked Cammon..."Is she Ok?" "Everything is going to be fine." I was lost for emotions...soon I was back in the recovery room. I didn't gt to hold her or even see her. Soon they bring her in, in an incubator. As tears stream down my face. " How much does she weigh?" 4lbs 1oz. 15 3/4 inches OUR BABY TAYLOR IS HERE....SHE IS SOOO PRECIOUS!!! They took her over to the NICU @ Primary Children's hospital.
I got to go see my sweet little Taylor that night.

The first time I got to hold her hand :)
The reason Taylor came 7 weeks early is I had a Placenta abroption (the placenta has torn away from the baby). So in result she was not getting any blood, and I was bleeding inside.
Since Taylor was born, things have been a little scary. They have done several tests on her.
We have found out that she has Acute Tubular Necrosis (faliure of the kidneys), A Intraventicular hemmorage ( they have found blood on the right side of her brain), and an Omphalcelle (organs on the outside of her tummy), and lung disease. Things have been a complete rollercoaster. In result of the placenta abroption, Taylor had to have a blood transfusion on the 21'st. Since Taylor's kidneys are not functioning...she hasn't been peeing. The nurses and Doctors thought if they gave her more fluids then she would get rid of it (this was before they knew about her kidneys) So in the first couple of days they tried to give her lots of fluids... well she wasn't getting rid of it. So right now we are praying for pee.
